Promotion at Hostmonster: Free $150 marketing credit at Miva, Google, & Yahoo

Not long ago Hostmonster had upgraded their hosting plan to unlimited storage space/bandwidth/addon domains – enabling Hostmonster clients to host unlimited website with just one hosting account. The promotion campaign was quite a success as we are seeing more and more signups at Hostmonster.

Nevertheless, the unlimited storage and bandwidth offer does not reflects the full picture of Hostmonster’s promo. What most customers did not notice in Hostmonster’s offer is that they are offering quite some free credits in web marketing/advertising at Yahoo!, Google, and Miva. As long as you’re a new signup (regardless of new/old domain transfer), you’ll get this free marketing credit from Hostmonster – that’s %50 for each one of Yahoo!, Google, and Miva.

To activate your free coupon (on Google or Yahoo!), simply click on the icons showed and you’ll get all things done following the system guidance.

HostMonster server uptime for other websites

Seems like it’s not only me who’re reviewing HostMonster via running a website on the web host. HostmonsterReview.org is doing the samething in the sametime. Well, it’s definitely useful to have another voice on HostMonster reviews. In fact you’re very much recommended to search around the Internet before making any purchase decision.

As for your reference, this is what mentioned about HostMonster’s server uptime recently at HostmonsterReview.org:

For the month of april 2008, the hostmonster uptime recorded as 99.93% over the Internet. Which is above the service uptime guarantee of 99.9%. There are some problem/downtime at early of the month, but quickly solved and there is no downtime for the rest of the month.

Hostmonster server speed test and response time was recorded as 0.243 second. A very fast response server.. means the server is not crowded and with low server load. This also indicates a good quality hosting servers.

Account deactivated with Hostmonster, what to do now?

Yes, I know – all you want is to have your website host on Hostmonster and you did nothing fishy nor you’re using a stolen credit card. But out of nowhere, the Hostmonster Verification Department jumped out and deactivate your account with the reason of “suspicious activity on this account”.

“WTF?!” I had the same reaction as you’re having now when I first know this and it almost made me yell to the laptop screen like the Incredible Hulk.

But the situation took a positive turn as soon as I contacted Hostmonster customer supports. Good news is that the customer support is very helpful and it’s not that hard to get your account back in action. In fact my account was reactivated back very soon and I’m happy with their response time.

In case you’re not sure what to do, check out my previous related posts where I…

Good news about this is that you can fix this ULTRA FAST – just an identity check with Hostmonster Verification Department and you’re done. Also, think about this thoroughly, this is actually a good sign for a web hosting company. To me, it shows that Hostmonster’s taking their business seriously and they are being very responsive towards scams and spams.

Can’t go wrong sticking with the company that care about their business a lor, right? To learn more, visit Hostmonster online.
